The Princo model L4660 Smart Sonic level transmitter was installed in Canada on a 50 ft tall storage silo containing kitty litter -
that’s right kitty litter.
The unit has been in operation since fall of 2001 and is working quite well.
The customer is extremely pleased with the Smart Sonic's performance and plans to install them in all their silos.
The Smart Sonic level transmitter for Bulk Solids is especially designed to handle a variety of solids level applications, including; coal, gravel, sand, saw dust, wood chips, grain (corn, wheat, oats, etc.), resin and plastic (pellets, flakes, powder, etc.), just to name a few.
